Celebration
Rainbow Chan, contemporary artist behind the inaugural ABC Bullion Arts Series Lunar Coin, will present a traditional ink performance alongside a contemporary Lunar musical set.
Guests will enjoy a canapé and drinks menu inspired by a traditional Lunar New Year banquet. Each guest will also receive this year’s ABC Year of the Fire Horse Coin in ABC Bullion Fine Australian Silver, presented in bespoke Rainbow Chan–designed red packets, along with a traditional 24kt pineapple cake.
ABC Bullion Arts Series Coin Program
On this evening, ABC Bullion will proudly launch the ABC Bullion Arts Series Coin Program — a collaborative initiative delivered through the Pallion Arts Program, engaging contemporary artists to translate their art practice into works for modern minting.
Pallion is immensely proud of this initiative, which reflects the Pallion Arts Program’s commitment to artist-led collaboration and reigniting the art of precious metals at every level.
About Rainbow Chan
陳雋然 / Chun Yin Rainbow Chan is an award-winning multidisciplinary performance artist and composer whose practice bridges contemporary music, ritual and visual art. Her work explores cultural memory, matrilineal histories and diasporic identity through immersive song and performance.
As the inaugural artist of the ABC Bullion Arts Series Coin Program, Chan brings her distinctive artistic language into precious metal, richly translating her artwork onto the coin — with even the expressive splatters of ink from her original drawings enduring in fine Australian gold and silver.
